Sessions at GILC
Participating students are encouraged to submit conference proposals to present a session at the conference for other GILC participants. Topics of these sessions vary but have an international, multi-cultural and/or leadership foundation. We expect that each university in attendance has at least one session proposal, but we encourage multiple submissions!

Staff can also participate by co-presenting with students in a student session or presenting a student-focused session! Co-presenting with students is a great way to encourage your students to take the "risk" in presenting. Presentations should be approximately 45 minutes for the entire session (including activities and a Q & A session).

To Submit a Proposal: Beginning October 1, simply submit the form on this page with details about your presentation and the sessions committee will review your proposal. The strongest submissions include the following characteristics:
Presentations should be completed prior to the conference. We recommend students to work with their advisors for advice, tips, and help presenting at the conference. Presenting is both a fun and rewarding way to share your knowledge with others! Don't be afraid to ask for help, or submit any topic you are interested in presenting. GILC is committed to ensuring presenters have all of the support they need for their session! |
